Alfonso Ramsey Johnson was born in Colon, Republic of Panama, and at the age of seven, he was brought to Brooklyn, New York, where he and his family began a new life in the United States of America. Growing up in one of the world’s most diverse cities, Alfonso was shaped by an environment rich in multiculturalism, opportunity, and resilience.
Curious, confident, and adaptable from an early age, Alfonso embraced every experience life presented to him. Whether at home, in the classroom, or on the streets of Brooklyn, he learned quickly and developed the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Balancing school, work, and part-time jobs, he also became familiar with the realities and challenges of street life.
